The isolated outlets
It is not enough just to clean up the power coming from the wall outlet. Each component in the system creates its own noise.

Unless that noise is isolated, it will spread to other parts of the system. Digital equipment commonly gets the blame for causing noise, but often analog equipment will produce large amounts of noise as well.

Each receptacle in the isolated section of an Ultra Wedge is fed by a proprietary isolation transformer. Each outlet is fully independent of each other.

In order to achieve maximum performance, all the source equipment in the system must be plugged into individual isolated outlets. This means that everything in the system except for the amplifier needs to be isolated. Failure to do so will allow noise to flow through the system via the interconnect network, partially defeating the benefits of isolation.

Most isolated outlets on the Ultra Wedges are rated at 120 watts. Be sure that the equipment being plugged in does not exceed the limit for that outlet. Exceeding the limit will cause the breaker for that outlet to trip.
